I can't wait to skull drag USC. Our Tigers have this habit of nuking former powers back to the stone age. Miami and Virginia Tech still haven't recovered.

USC fans travel week and dress up like Mardi Gras! I love it! Sat by some Trojan fans vs ND in South Bend a few years back. Great game! The Irish held on but USC brought their A game that day. Fans were gracious afterwards - even after a loss. Should be a great game in 2024. Looking forward to it. Geaux Tigers!

That's true

Of course, that was at a time LSU had a professional wrestler as their HC who, after 2019, thought he was a football savant when the 2019 season was really a product of great coordinators coupled with great players, and a HC that basically got out of the way and just clapped on the sidelines.

I very likely won't be attended the USC game simply because I don't like neutral site college football games. Regardless of locale. But I am excited to see big name out of conference opponents on the schedule. At its core, college football is nothing more than entertainment for the fans. So while playing USC and UCLA may bring about a great risk for a loss, I would MUCH rather watch LSU play those opponents than pretend I care about games vs. Grambling, Georgia St, Southern, etc.

Our previous coach left our defense real thin. So I don't really blame riley for our defensive woes. Now if things don't improve after the second and third year well that's another thing.

Spoiler: Riley's defense isn't going to improve.

You caught us at the wrong time. Yall are going to be breaking in a new QB and we play early. If your defense isn't fixed, this might be a 3 TD win. This ain't like the UCLA game years back. This year and next year the LSU squads will be pretty damn good.
