+10000 means that’s the payout if he places a 100 dollar bet. Poster above me is correct.

I am praying that you win, but I can almost guarantee that LSU wasn't even close to +10000, especially with our recruiting class. Those are like the odds for a shitty mid-major.
ETA: was definitely reading +10000 as +100000 aka 1000/1

That is great odds but yes you missed by a long shot
That would pay out 10k, not 1M
ETA: and agree with poster that this is BS. LSU would not have been +10000 odds to win it all. Maybe a team like Montana would have odds like that

according to bpi before the tourney started, 2 teams had better chances of making the championship game than lsu had of winning a 2nd game. bpi is still being updated. duke and gonzaga have been chances of winning it all than lsu has of beating msu. lsu has been defying the odds all season. just like in fb

100-1 are pretty normal odds. Hell its 50-1 now and they are in the Sweet 16. The source of the OP says 80-1. Why would anyone question 100-1?

Look at the date. That was the start of the season, and I think oregon was top 15
