That would be between the president and the BOT. He's not losing his job for this. It's clearly written in the handbook.

It was BP I thought I edited out the other part. An I'm aware he never leaked team information, but he's really the only source with credit we have.

I know I know I was just kidding. But if Alleva arbitrarily denies TM7's return if it is approved by the University, he'll have some people who are more than a little bit mad at him.

Alleva seems to be relatively popular these days, however, which is quite the turnaround from a few years back when the football team wasn't doing quite as well.

Sounds like this is going to happen.

Dude may have finally seen "the light"

Get him in another rehab,

Have him do community service at BR schools speaking

make him pay his own way his junior year.

Keep the grades up

Gets to play in 2013

Comeback story of the year and LSU receives positive praise for helping out a troubled superstar player

I never though BP was in the AD department, but that's my pet theory. I wish we did have a legit team source. Of course, anyone with real info probably avoids this place like the plague after the way BP was treated.

Looks like it can happen if the coaches/administration allow it to?

He should, yes. Not sure, though.

Lets get our ducks in a row real quick. Just because the "school" says that he can return to the team doesn't mean he will be allowed by the athletic department. It's not really a school issue.

Yes, currently he has 3 years to play 2 because he played as a true Freshman. If he sits out, he would return as a Junior.

I see. Then it is 100% Alleva's call to let him back on if he sits out for a year?

I have another quick question: Who created this three-strike rule in the first place?
