Dont mean to be total creeper on this, but Monday he came into my class on crutches not putting any weight on his knee.

Today, he came into class without crutches and was putting weight on it, but still had it wrapped up and in a harness.

not a tear IMO or we would have already heard officially that he's done for the year. My best guess is that it's a severe sprain/bruise and he'll be out a month or so.

I agree. I look to see him back in the Florida game.

if he's out more than 4 weeks then he won't play until the bowl game. no way he can stay in playing shape and be able to come back and compete against the backs we have to try and get playing time.

I heard on the radio they had some doctor saying with the way his leg was bent along with the hit made it look like a patella fracture or patella tendon injury. he said if theres a slight tear it can be anywhere from 3-8 weeks for recovery. I came in kinda in the middle didn't hear all of it.

We have too many backs and Miles will not let one come back unless he is 100%.. Hilliard and Ford will be 1 & 2 Hill and Ware(depending on his thigh) will be 3 & 4.

his injury looked pretty bad

How so, Mr. Little? He hopped right up and limped off the field. If that looks pretty bad, every cramp should scare the crap out of you. If you watch the play where he went down, it looked more like an impact injury (bruise, fracture) rather than a major joint issue.

I really didn't see the hyper-extension. That said, patella fracture is along the lines of what I was thinking. I'm no doctor, but a replay isn't an MRI, either.

He wasnt saying bent in a hyperextension way, but just meant the way his foot was planted and the way his leg was bent before the hit would have put all the force on the patella. not season ending is what I got from it. Not with the doctors that we have especially. I suck at spelling if any of this is incorrect whatever.

That makes sense and goes with what I saw.

No MRI or X Ray results yet. I hope it's only a bruised patella, sprained knee, hyperextension/dislocation, deep knee contusion, or something like that.

Maybe Les can explain tonight on his Wed. night radio show...

Too bad there is no video. Les has been known to give a detailed read own of injuries using visual aids.
