Obviously Coach didn’t name every player on the team and their official depth so some of this is just my best judgement based off what coach has said throughout the summer.

coach O said today on OTB that Dumervil was working in at RT behind Deculus but then later on in the Live Press Conference said Cam Wire was working behind Deculus. I also found it interest that Coach says Xavier Hill is our #2 LT right now. Seems like a Guard to me on paper, but hey what do I know.

Also surprised that Joseph Evans is now #2 at RG after O has praised Bradford and Thomas for their work this offseason. Interesting how they were fighting for start positions earlier and now don’t even seem to be mentioned in OL talk.

Overall we still look solid throughout the depth after losing Farrell, Vincent, and now Thomas within the past 2 weeks. Hopefully we won’t lose anymore.

I still think Emery is the most explosive of the 4. Not that LSU can't win with Curry and/or TDP, but Emery is the best threat to be a gamebreaker. He got buried on the depth chart last year because he had fumbling issues in camp and struggled a bit in picking up the "Clyde" role as a receiver (they don't look at Curry or TDP as big time receiving threats, so their wasn't that much emphasis on them being great at that spot). Couple that with the fact Clyde was just so good it was hard to take him off the field, and the coaches went with the guys they trusted wouldn't make the big negative play.

I think LSU is going to rely on the running game a bit more this season simply because Brennan just doesn't have the experience of Joe yet. If so, I really hope Emery is ready to go. He could be a difference maker at that spot.

You think that just because Emery is the fastest and most nimble of the backs.

Pretty sure Bradford is faster and more nimble than Emery. I think Bradford will be a pleasant surprise

Hill ahead of Dumervil is interesting. I have high expectations for Dumervil. Like 3rd best tackle on the team this year. I wonder if Hill looks good in practice or Dumervil is under performing...

can we go ahead and assume there's enough evidence that Bradford and Thomas are sitting out

It doesn't. We will have to blitz like crazy once again.

Andre Anthony may surprise some people and have the light come on in his last year with a new scheme. I've been waiting for Jarell Cherry to do something since he got in campus. The two pups (Ojulari and Webb) may be two of our more productive guys based on coaches comments.

When asked who could step in the nickel for Vincent this morning, the first person that Stingley Sr mentioned was Mo Hampton. I found that very interesting. He says they could use a nickle/corner look with Flot or Ricks, or a nickle/safety look with Hampton/Harris - he specifically pointed out how good Hampton is in coverage but can also blitz so he's almost the perfect disguise for any look.

Y’all, our offense is fricking stacked. If Brennan can pan out, we’ll be looking at another natty

Our depth is not as great as we'd like, but that is a nasty arse starting 11 on defense.
