Saban's biggest strength is motivating players. Motivation is not just Ra Ra. Its getting the most out of your talent.

Believe it or not Saban is not the best X & O guy. He is the best at developing fundamentally sound players. "DO YOUR JOB and DO IT PERFECT"

Bama wins for 3 reasons.

1. Talent they have the best and deepest roster in Nation
2. Fundamentals (the small things) If everyone does there job perfect, you dont have to get fancy. I have watched Saban's practices, The smallest technique does not go unturned. It is done over and over and over again. Being Fundamentally sound leads to less mental errors. He hires the best teachers!
3. Offseason. Bama does JAN- AUG better than anyone. S&C, recruiting, etc. You win in November in FEB- AUG.

Saban hires the best in these three areas. College football is not rocket science. Many teams out scheme Bama for a quarter or a half but no one in college football beats Bama in the catergorizes above. Bottom line is you can scheme all you want, but 9/10 times if your team wins all three of those catergories you will win the game.

Bama did not out scheme LSU this year. It came down to Bama's front 7 being bette than LSU's Oline. It didnt matter what we called, they physcially beat us up front.

Saban is the greatest coach IMO but he did not become great because he showed up. He wins because he is the best manager in the game.

For the first time in years, I actually saw an LSU improve on the small things as the season went on. O may be the best recruiter, but he is a coach that preaches fundamental football. LSU improved in technique and became a really good fundamental football team after O took over. No it was not perfect, but LSU was an aweful fundamental team under Miles. Miles won mainly on pure talent and depth.

Yes, LSU had top 5 recuriting classes, but they were filled with players LSU did not need. LSU did alot of Star chasing. We had issues signing the most important positions in football, along the line and LBs. Our signing of 8 DBs, 5 WRs, 1 FB, 3 TEs, 1 K, 1 P, 1 DSP, 3 OL, 2 DL hurt LSU. Yes they were all 4* plus , but not in the important places. O will build LSU roster back to what it looked like from 2000-2007.

We will be fine in the X and O catergory. Getting the roste right is the bigger key to competting with Bama.

How long will it take to put this into place?

Alot behind the scenes this month and they should come to public light after CFBPs.

Kiffin is under contract until Feb, so he may not be anounced until after. This is to avoid a Chavis like situation.

They did both imo. Watch the replay and you'll see them calling our play before it's snapped. They call, shift, and meet the RB in the hole over and over. That's Saban's shadow staff scouting in action.

They out-manned us too. Impossible to run when they are better coached, better players, and know the play on most downs. O creating a shadow staff is a good thing.

YOu think Saban did that?

No it is the army of former coaches working as consultants that put the game plan together.

Schemes are developed from FEB to AUG.

What you brought up is not a scheme, that is scouting. Point out a play is not a scheme. LSU did the same thing to Bama. That just allows you check into the right defense. That is why Bama loved playing against pro offenses. they have time to change the D. Bama's D has more issues with balanced spread formations because the little pre snap reads do not give away reads.

The blanant hold on 3rd and 27 is the only real miscue.

Adjustments to your scheme, is part of the scheme. I saw your sources, so you I know you know who's about to be hired, and it will be very beneficial.

So we're you saying Alleva is your source earlier when you said if posters on here have their way your source would be fired?

I don't expect a straight answer but maybe I will be surprised.
