Your tale is starting to disintegrate under its own weight. First, you claim LSU has made an offer to Herman, then you insinuate JA is being restrained from giving the job to O. So JA made the offer to Herman against his will? Morever, how would your contact actually know all of this detail firsthand on a contemporaneous basis if he isn't part of the central team? Is security that lax in the AD? Are members of the control group so cavalier with sensitive information? Why hasn't anyone from the AD objected to the public dissemination of this critical info?

Miles to Michigan...brings back memories. Tracking these guys reps and agents are still the best way to determine the direction the Athletic Dept. is heading. Anybody tracking inbound private flights from Tallahassee, Houston, or Pierre Part?

What am I suppose to say its O job when that is not true.
It has been as objective as I can make it because everyone on here has an agenda and they read what they want to read.
I have not hidden that my contact like most admin are pro O. So yes some facts that I recieve seem more pro O. I have tried to pull facts from their slant.
So quite reading if you dont belive me. It doesnt phase me.

You are now contending that our athletic director is being forced to negotiate with Herman/Jimbo by boosters and that, in fact, if he were free to act he would hire an Ole Miss retread without even making those other two candidates decline the position first. That does not seem remotely plausible, but whatever.

This renders everything you write suspect. Your sources are biased, and they are crafting a narrative that makes it seem as if O is a reasonable alternative to greedy old JF and TH, and that even Alleva would hire O if only he were free to do so. It's not trustworthy. I'm not being contentious, it's simply true. But carry on.

Not forced just agreed to booster's request. Its called politics. It doesnt hurt to talk eventhough you like a guy. The issue like I have said since the start is NOT OVERPAYING the latest hot name.

Agree. Herman to Texas is no surprise. The worlds been saying it all year if Strong got fired. 3 straight 7 loss seasons. He can't survive that. It's O in my opinion unless by some miracle Jimbo changes his mind.

Every "source" has a bias, but even bias sources still produce accurate info. They have stated they believe O is behind from the start.

This is spot on. Why ppl slam posters with inside info is funny to me. Whoever they talk to will each have their own opinion on the direction of the search. Other than the basic fundamentals. Anyway thanks for the info. I will say I've been melting thinking O gets it but I do know this class will hold with O and we lose a ton of players. Of the staff is such a grand slam well I feel better about things a little. I still want jimbo or Herman first and foremost
