today, the tulane rivalry is only relievant in baseball.
UL Lafayette fans are hated but they only compete in baseball.

Today the Tulane rivalry is not even relevant in baseball. They are now just a bottom half CUSA team.

Also, for me personally, I am...
(1) Very strongly pro-SEC for all schools, especially when it comes to football and baseball, which are really the only 2 college sports I care about.
(2) Posi-Tiger, Pro-Milesian, Anti-TAF, Anti-ESPN, & Anti-Sabanite. (I'm sure you have no idea what these labels imply, but they are part of long running splits within the fanbase.)
(3) Enjoy the fact that we have the craziest reputation in the SEC, but also like that most of the rumors are urban legends (see "piss balloons") from people who never tailgated at LSU before. The hospitality extended to opposing fans at LSU is way better than anywhere else, so long as you're not a tightass prude who can't take a little drunken rambling and curse words in front of children.

Regardless of the competition or the rivalry, any respectful fan visiting Death Valley will likely never return to their hotel sober or hungry.
