Will somebody please tell me wins you see left on the schedule based on the defense you saw on the field today? I see Arkansas as maybe a possible win, or the best chance at one, anyway. Najee Harris is going to set the single-game SEC rushing record against us!

I think that's a given. I don't think it's unpopular at all. Ole Miss will beat us. We will be competitive against Arkansas and South Carolina. Do you really think we'll split Florida, Bama, A&M and Auburn? I think 4-6 is the ceiling now.

I’d say 4 is the ceiling and would require beating ole miss who just hung with Bama and South Carolina who has a pulse

I think we could if O fires Pelini and gets the locker room settled down. There’s no guarantee that would flip the switch, but we saw a lot of improvement from the offense a few years ago when Miles and Cam were shown the door. This offense gets you 5-6 wins with a competent D getting some actual stops.

Guys I’m having a hard time seeing us win another game. This D line and linebacker group are complete trash. 11 guys that gave up is hard to watch.

I agree. I don't think we win another game unless we luck into finding someone down and we get some lucky breaks.
As of now, we're the 2nd worst team in the SEC. Let that sink in. Lower than Arkansas, South Carolina, UT, KY, MO, A&M. Don't even consider OleMiss.

Not sure if it's reality yet. There were people questioning if we'd be bowl eligible after we lost to State and Troy in 2017, yet we rebounded to win at the Swamp, and won 9 games.
That said, something needs to be done about the defense and running game now, or fewer than 5 wins will happen.

We just played a team that couldn’t get more “down” if they tried. They’ve been ducking obliterated the first two games and then Lose 6 major contributors to Covid and we still botched this one.

With a passing game like ours we’ll be in every game. Defense is optional this year.
Look we’re lucky to even get to watch football. Although you can tell the energy just isn’t there without the fans. Nothing can really be taken from a season so abnormal.
