its going to happen with the bad games. I'm sure it will eventually happen, because LSU is destroying its Greek system.
The Greek system is still responsible for a ton of good press the university gets throughout the year. In order to get tickets, a lot of philanthropy must be done.

we are in the last area of greek seats closest to the 50. There were a ton of athlete family seats empty directly above us. Probably hard for some out of town to make it for the early kickoff

They CAN take action about all of the vulgar chants that come out of the SS. AND they could disperse the student section to different areas of the stadium similar to what opposing teams do to LSU to combat the group chants.

I'm a student and believe that the chants we do are idiotic.
The school was idiotic, IMO, for taking away oo-ee-oo because of the "you suck". They don't understand the mental mindset of youth.

you have absolutely no idea if that is true or not, now stfu.
I know my parents would be smart enough to realize that every student who attends LSU should be able to attend the football game before the older adults. It is part of the college experience. Hell, the major reason that LSU has a football team is to attract students to the university. Enrollment was very high both years after we won the national championship.

The booing absolutely came from the south corner of the stadium. I was in the end zone at the time, and there is no doubt. I may be an old fart, but blaming this on the students is plain ignorant. I would bet that if we gave the gold chairback seats to the students, they would actually have butts in them towards then end of the 3rd qtr.

I think the booing came from both sides.
Heard there were UK fans there booing too when JJ came in.
I have 2 students work for me that looked shocked when I told them not to "boo" at the LSU/Fla game.
I asked them why they would want to boo their own players and one of them said because JJ shouldn't be in there in place of JL, it is wrong.
I told that student when they realize these guys are there to get drunk and party during the game like you are then give me lessons in football etiquette.
So yes....Booing came from students, older fans, and opposing fans alike.
Stop playing the blame game here and understand LSU needs students at the game since it's their University.
