Good God/
If the Browns kept the petal to the floor for the entire game it would be Browns 106, bama 0.
Seriously, the gap between the worst NFL team and the best college team is massive.

Nope NFL won 32 of 41 games. College won 9.

I don't believe you. When was this? I just can't imagine it being anything more of a novelty where the main NFL players would not participate.
ETA: I stand corrected. There actually was a Chicago College All-Star Game.

Take the absolute worst NFL team you can think of from the last 20 years and put them up against this year's Alabama team and the NFL team would beat them so badly people would expect charges to be filed.
For rape
For rape

The Browns training camp team of cut players would destroy Alabama. It isn't even close

No they never won not once.

This is a silly topic, but I'll play along.
If you took only 3rd-7th round players from the 2018 draft, some of the players you would have include:
QB Mason Rudolph
RB Royce Freeman
RB John Kelly
RB Bo Scarborough
WR Antonio Callaway
WR Deon Cain
WR Russell Gage
WR Trey Quinn
LB Lorenzo Carter
LB Malik Jefferson
LB Shaquem Griffin
LB Arden Key
DE Daeshaun Hand
DE Josh Sweat
S Ronnie Harrison
S Armani Watts
P JK Scott
That is one year of late round picks... now take a team of mostly early round picks, who have 1-15 years more experience.
No matter how dominant a college team is, there will NEVER... EVER... be one that could beat an NFL team.

Surprising they did. But I'm sure it was a novelty game as it was a preseason game. I doubt anyone was risking injury in a fun little bullshite game to start the season.

I think? the college team won most of the time.
Flase. They actually rarely scored and eventually had to quit playing the game for obvious reasons

You do know you can google this stuff right before you just post it right?. The last game was 1976 that’s 42 years ago. The last time the college team won was 1963 and before then was 1958. Early on the college team won a few games but there was a time when college football was considered the pinnacle of the sport.

Browns - name the score Bama 0

same analogy with worst college team and best HS team
No, it's not this at all. The best high school team in the country would likely beat a division III team (or whatever the hell that division is called now).
College to NFL is more than night and day.....it's not even on the same planet athletically.

That’s like asking who would win between you and a gorilla in a cage match till the death. Sure you may get a punch in or two, but that hairy beast is bathing in your blood.

My knee jerk reaction is no way a college team could compete against an NFL team.
But, I remember that until 1976, there was the College All Star game played between the previous year’s NFL Champs and the top senior college players. The games were competitive and the college all stars won a few.
Since you are talking about a bottom tier NFL team and what appears to be one of the better college teams in years, it not out of the realm of possibility that the game would be close.
I have contended that the ‘95 Nebraska team that beat the crap out of Florida to repeat as NCs could have probably competed against several NFL teams and maybe even beaten a few.
Just my thoughts.
