LSU intentionally called basic bitch offensive plays against Tech to keep bullets in the chamber. don't show OM what plays we're going to run against them

There was likely some of that. There was never a need to pull out any type of special play for that game. Probably also a bit of post big game performance lethargy that happens very often in sports. I'm not worried. Great to be hand-wringing over "only" winning by 31 points.

So throwing a few bad INTs was part of the game plan? Gotcha

That's a myth.
Most coaches run their offenses for multiple reasons.
-It hones your offense to improve execution, timing, etc.
-you lay an arse whipping so you can rest your starters early.
-In our case, the OL is still a work in progress and that's being kind
-you never want to take an opponent lightly or give your team the idea that it's in the bag. We were hair from being down 14-13 at half.

Coaches like Spurrier never sandbagged, even when he put in his subs.
Look at the scores from around the country against mid-majors and FCS games.
The idea of being vanilla or the hidden playbook is cow dung.

Perhaps that would explain the inability to effectively run the ball.

But those three turnovers by Sam were not part of the plan. Those poor decisions by a quarterback who who doesn’t need to make poor decisions. We weren’t down in the game. There was no reason to be gambling.

The good news that can be coached up. I do agree that we will see a lot more creativity in the game plan comes Saturday night.

They won by 31 points. No excuses needed.
