Which is why Hendo should be unbanned, at least for this weekend.

Nothing is wrong with that except for most of the ones on this board are not reasonable and are idiots.

pitching the # 2 against LSU would result in 10+ runs

So let's say this gamble pays off and ULL beats LSU on Saturday night. Do pitchers #3 and #4 for ULL have any chance of beating LSU? Their numbers say no.

I agree, but rest assured, it goes both ways. Plenty of idiots on both sides.

Exactly, their numbers say no, but at this point our hitting might bail us out because we wouldn't be facing one of your top 3 arms.

Let me put it this way, unlike in years past, if we win Fri, and Saturday, I still would not feel safe on Sunday... not in the least bit.

It will take alot to overcome our shallow pitching depth. Look for us to be making some noise for real next season though... we are getting a few transfers to add to our pitching staff. One of which is Carson Barynick (sp?), former LSU freshmen pitcher arrested for DUI and transferred to a JUCO. He signed with us to start next season. He's a stud.

Tony coaching with his heart and not his head there. ULL won't be able to advance through the loser's bracket. Game 1 is more important, IMO. IF ULL was to beat LSU, it would be in a shootout...regardless of who the starter was.

if game one is so important, then why is Nola starting game 2?? remember, baseball is a day by day sport!

Looks like ULL is already making excuses for losing the tournament, the old wait till next year argument.

Wilson has to win a game for the Cajuns to win this regional, so why not throw him against a team he knows he can beat. SHSU is throwing Dickson, he's not lights out by any means

Not sure why you're ROFLing. Baranik is a stud. Though I couldn't find his numbers from Miami-Dade this season. He's still a draft risk.

ETA: But I'm an Indiana fan, how would I know any of this.

I guess considering what they have now anyone new would be a stud.

I don't know why you're so eager to shite on them. The kid has talent. He'd still be here, and be a big part of our pitching staff, if he didn't have the off field stuff.
