I like the name ragin cajuns but it doesn't leave a lot of mascot options.

Does anyone remember Crazy George?

He was a crazy animated type (recalling that he looked like Terry Bradshaw) who wore short shorts and would bang on a hand-held drum that he held in his left hand, drumstick in the right hand. He'd run throughout the stands at basketball games, riling up the people.

It should be either him, or the classic bulldog.

the helmet with the acadian flag on the side was in 72 and 73 i think...

looked just like the acadian ambulance logo...


funny too their helment use to have a big USL on the side.. eerly similar to a blanc/rouge version of LSUs helmets..

I remember that thing. I never understood what that thing was about and why we had him. Did he pop or something?

EllisHugh I think? Those remote controlled things were all the rage for a year or so, now I think they are all gone, thankfully.
