Your link is to engineering graduate schools, which is irrelevant in my opinion. Most successful engineers don't go to graduate school, although some do and go on to very successful careers.
Most successful engineers earn an MBA or some type of PMP certification, after earning their undergrad degree.
One of my best friends will be graduating from LSU's engineering program this spring. I won't take away anything from his degree, but I'm definitely fine with my degree from UL. It has taken him 10 years to complete and he has an interview with my company tomorrow. I wish him the best and hope his LSU degree is adequate.

I love the way they see ULL grads who are LSU fans as traitors who are dead to them. I understand loving your school but you cant expect to have a complete unwavering fan base when you haven't been relevant in the sports scene in decades. (not counting the CWS appearance)

It's funny I've continued my string of attending games in Tiger Stadium without ever once having any sort of notable bad experience with an opposing fan, anything close to being worthy of commenting on.
And I've been attending home games going on 30 years or so.
Maybe I'm just that damn lucky.

We had a girl in our section with one of those Tiger Bait shirts with the arrow pointing downward... I didn't get it?
I also saw a lot of the T-shirts where you couldn't read the front at first, but when they lifted some of the shirt up, it read "F*** LSU" but really spelled out the letters.. it was just tasteless. The fans were all so obnoxious for no reason.
One ULL fan lit up a cigarette in front of us. I told her no smoking and she got pissed at me. It's the rule and I don't want to inhale your secondhand smoke. There's no smoking in ULL's stadium either so I don't know why she thought she could do it in ours.
I have a couple of friends who go to ULL and they said they are coming to the Florida game and wearing Florida shirts... why?? Why would you pull against a university from your own state? It's so annoying how jealous they all are.

I'm telling you, a lot of the shock value on this stuff is with Cajun fans who are entering Tiger Stadium for the first time as an opponent. We're used to going to LSU games as an LSU fan as well, so it's like walking into your home and having someone yell at you.
I'm not talking about the people that give as well as they get when it comes to Tigerbaiting. I mean your casual fan who grew up alternating between USL and LSU games, and now find themselves at the other end of the screaming.

Same. Though I'm a student so it's only been 4 years (not counting the 2-3 games I'd go to as a kid every year).
There is absolutely no way that someone spit in a ULL girls face. It was probably water from the porter potty he tipped her over in, not spit though.

I know my LSU engineering degree was more than sufficient to get me my job over my ULL counterpart during the hiring process. apparently even Laffy based companies don't believe the BS that ULL faculty spew out about LSU academics.
Every year I get to hear new stories about how some random ULL department is FAR superior to it's LSU counterpart.
One year it's the Engineering department. The next year it's the architecture department. The next it's the business school. Like a broken fricking record that no one is listening to.
