Isn't the LSU athletic department the only one in the state that doesn't rely on public funding?
Or mandatory student fees.

Louisiana's Ragin Cajuns continue to make a serious push for the Top 25 as they lose to a 7-8 UNO team 61-58. This scoring outburst follows up a 63 point performance in double overtime at home against Denver who has a stellar 6-8 record. The Cajuns are now 5-9 on the season and it's only a matter of time before they take the nation by storm.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Dallas, I'll be waiting for your reply. It didn't take you long to come on here beating your chest after the ULL/LSU game. ULL is at full strength, and they should be peforming a little better if they are as talented as you have made them out to be. Daigle obviously played the game of his life against LSU and hasn't done much since then. Having said that, they should still compete for the Sun Belt title. However, we'll see how your top 25 comments play out this season.

Stro, point out to him that ULL couldn't even beat LSUNO.

why the hell is this thread still going (other than the fact i just commented in it) congrats ull. you played an uninspired lsu team at 130 pm on new years eve when there was an lsu football game that night, your boy daigle got hot and hit like 4 bullshite threes in garbage time and you lost by two! hooray for moral victories! hooray! hooray! how about those new orleans privateers? woot!

ULL continues their climb towards the Top 25 as they blow a double digit lead and lose to ULAR in the Cajun Dome. The Cajuns are now 6-10 on the season and the boast a 3-3 record in the powerful Sun Belt Conference.
All the pieces are in place, and they certainly don't look like a top 25 team to me. Daigle obviously left his best basketball in Baton Rouge.

Regardless of what some of you idiots say, if ULL can stay healthy consistently, they are a Top 25 team.

looks like ULL has now lost 6 of its last 8 games. When do you guys think they will get a bid for the tourney?

Posted on 1/17/09 at 9:39 pm to Johnny4lsu
It looks like USL has bragging rights until next season because they almost beat us.

Is ULL still a college? I guess I lost track. I knew it was USL at one point but I thought the whole "ULL" thing was just making fun.
There is still a college in Lafayette?

Face it, LSU has played a cupcake schedule and will get pounded in SEC play!
Yeah, this has really been the case so far.

ULL lost by 35 to UAB
6-11 now, that tourney bid isnt looking so good!

That doesn't matter, they have good coaching and top 25 talent according to someone else in this thread. In my opinion, one of the two is lacking when you get blasted by 30+ against a UAB team that isn't anything special.
Also dallaslsufan, I had the chance to attend the ULL/ULAR game in Lafayette. ULL had their weapons in place, and I was highly unimpressed when I left the game.

obviously

As far as you guys saying Robert Lee has really taken the program down. That may be the dumbest post I have seen on here.
They are calling for his head in Lafayette, and most ULL fans are happy with the current condition of the program. Unfortunately, most of them don't think the administration will fork over the money to buy out his contract. If he has the talent, why are they sucking so badly?

Has anyone come back on here to defend what was said. NO...Because that is how a couch potato coach does. Talks trash with absolutely no knowledge of the subject and doesn't return when proven extremely wrong.
Damn, sounds like someone needs to take some of their own advice.

Wow, another game, another loss for the almighty Ragin Cajuns. It's a damn shame with all the great talent they have to go with their good coaching.

Cajuns just dropped another game, this time to the worst team in the Sun Belt. It's a damn shame considering they have top 25 talent and good coaching according to some. It's a damn shame this thread was anchored after dallaslsufan made a complete arse of himself by calling out people for not showing their fact. Dallaslsufan, why don't you abide by your own words and eat some crow? LSU's first in the SEC right now, meanwhile the Cajuns are sinking to the lowest depts of the Sun Belt.
