Who in the world would want to listen to ULL's dumbass obnoxious fans all weekend? I'd rather play Houston and the 40 parents that travel.

I disagree. There is something fun beating up on your little brother, especially if he is talking any smack.

Anybody got any idea how much it's going to cost total for a pair of booklets purchased outside the stadium? $200? More?

Easy bet since Louisville is not in our bracket.

Plus, the Seahawks are about to be sent packing by the Greenies.

As a cajun and tiger fan I absolutely dread any time these two schools play. mostly because it brings out the worst in both fan bases, mostly by my cajun brethren.

Pretty sure Houston and rice play now to see who gets ULL

Yep, in past years Rice always had an excellent pitching staff, but don't know much about them this year. All in all, the pitching issue really helps ULL tomorrow. Remember, the winner of Rice-UH has to come back & beat ULL twice.

As a Tiger and Cajun fan, I disagree. It's great entertainment.

ULL is a really great place but most fans feel like they have to prove something to LSU. Ive never understood it. One is SEC the other in Sun Belt. Its not a rivalry and its never going to be. Id rather ULL fans worry about us and the good things going on in Lafayette then always trying to bring LSU into everything. Most of the time this doesn't happen but when they play...Makes my head hurt

I agree. I grew up in Lafayette. It goes both ways, but it is way worse on the Cajuns side. When they announced at The Box Friday night that the Cajuns had won their game, the crowd cheered. That would never happen at The Tigue if they announced that LSU had won anything.

Amen and I wish LSU fans would not worry so much about what ULL decides to refer to itself as. I mean really.

Then you haven't been there for long. First start with the absolutely enormous difference in funding, both private and public (but mostly public). Think of it this way, even if my firm doesn't achieve what Apple achieves, if I still get a smart watch to the market I'm feeling pretty fricking good. Right?

Next you take basketball. USL was the basketball program of the state. How the hell do you think the Cajundome got built? Also, who do you think turned them in for recruiting violations?

Then there's the name thing. You do know that ULL was for a minute actually UL right? Yep, it happened. And then who made a stink? You guessed it. LSU and their alumni have been actively trying to harm ULL versus a "rising tide lifts all boats" approach for forever.

Throw in a little regional rivalry (Lafayette folks hate BR) and big brother/little brother syndrome and you get why Cajun fans act the way they do. Can't say I blame them a bit.

Wait, you're saying it's LSU's fault the Cajuns were busted for recruiting violations???

. Only one school has ever been known as UL and that was Tulane. Lafayette tried to just up and change their name and it didn't make it thru the legislature
