I wish University of Lafayette fans could stop being such insecure small penis people. It's fricking pathetic.

Why should the average
LSU fan be interested in attending the CFA Bowl? The average LSU fan was tratred like shite by LSU when it came to allocating tickets to the BCSCG last year. HOw far down the priority points list did tickets go? LSU let the "big donors" buy every ticket they wanted, and excluded the average fan. Where are the "big donors" now that LSU got sent to Atlanta? Now that LSU needs the average fan to sell its allotment it even goes so far as trying to guilt trip them into buying tickets. But what happens next year if the Tigers get back to the BCSCG or a BCS Bowl? Yep, the "big donors" will get all of the tickets. And you know that most of them will be re-sold on the secondary market. So the "big donors" will be able to profit off of the tickets thay are allocated while the "average fan" is left to the mercies of the secondary market.

I wouldn't have a problem with the TAF treating priority points like credit card mileage points. Make them redeemable for tickets rather than permanent. People would have to budget their contributions and redemption to stay near the top, and heavy usage would likely remove some from the head of the list. As it stands, those at the top of the list will stay there forever.

Most people blew their wad on the bama game. Driving 18 hours total and spending a grand for a lesser game doesn't make much sense

I agree with this. Hell, the people with seats next to us have had their tickets since the '50s and could not get BCS tickets. I get how the points work, but it's not right, espescially for people like that to be excluded.

It sucks, but money can buy you pretty much anything in this world.

Sure, and I don't fault LSU per say, but don't expect people to bail you out for the sake of "loyalty" when it's clearly a one-way street.

There's no way on God's green earth I will be going to Atlanta. When you set championship expectations for yourself don't be surprised when people don't want to drive 9 hours for the chicken bowl

me neither. I'm fine with the matchup, but I don't have unlimited time or money and there are other things I want to do this year other than go to Atlanta to watch LSU play in the 6th place bowl when they are ranked 7 in the country. I'm not mad at the LSU brass or TAF, but that poster was right, I feel no obligation to spend that kind of time and money when you can't even get a return phone call from them last year.

I agree the system sucks, but mainly I used to be loyal and buy bowl tickets from LSU but stopped after getting no BCSCG tix and reading death to the BCS and saw some hbo expose on the scam that is the bowl system. So my refusal to buy from LSU is more my disgust with crooked system than trying to stick it to LSU. I've been blessed to finally make a lot if money the last four years but donating to catch up is impossible so I just buy them on stubhub so I paid like a grand per ticket to BCSCG but will not pay like half price for these and that will be the market for every game except BCSCG until they ditch this stupid system. So just like LSU I'm gonna look out for me. I guess when we suck again some club seats will open up and if still blessed ill snag them until them I refuse to play this blind donation game to see if I can catch up.

BTW, NO UNIVERSITY is "the Univ. of Louisiana". ULL is just an equal member of the Univ. of LA system like ULM, LA Tech & others.
