He’s a real Dual threat QB. Our linebackers are gunna have to be very gap disciplined and will have to trust their reads on run plays especially option-run. He kinda scares me a little but if we can man up on the outside(which we can with Stingley and Ricks) and don’t over pursue I think we can give him trouble. Our defensive ends are going to have to contain him on passing downs as well. I can’t wait for this chess match between Kelly and Jones.

Neither was the Miss St QB the defense made look like a Heisman candidate last year

Stevie G, RELAX you need to remember what Kelly said after his Ducks got dick-stomped by LSU in Houston. “They just have a different breed of athlete in the SEC”

They are a middle of the pack in the PAC-12, if we can’t beat them then we are fubarred in the SEC

Y'all don't grasp just how bad Pelini was last year.

With Jones at the helm we're returning to Aranda-style discipline and positioning.

He kind of reminds me of Kellen Mond in the sense of if you are just flipping around games and stop you can see him make some throws and think this dude pretty solid. But if you stick around for the whole game you realize it’s very up and down

Pelini should have been fired during the season last year. I hope you're right about Jones.

I'm sorry but they don't have the horses we do to move the ball consistently. They'll have to really have good scheme to neutralize the talent disparity. The only thing that can stop us is bad offense and turnovers.

Oregon did not play LSU in Houston. They played in Jerry's World in Dallas.

I wouldn’t sleep on them. I still think we win by atleast 10 but I gotta see what two first time play callers are going to look like and how we do with in-game adjustments

I think this is the reality but many people here don't get it.
