yes that as well. i was just thinking about the bowl games and how everyone was saying lsu was going to lose. both were national champs each time since UCF wanted to believe that

Which one was tougher? We fell behind each of them early, then ran by them like they were standing still. You think Clemson 2019 was as good as UCF 2018?

I think I'll take this to the SEC rant and see if I can troll any lurking Clemsonites.

Clemson 2019 was better. It only didn't look as tough because LSU 2019 was much better than it was the previous year.

Didn't we have a bench warming WR playing corner in that game? Let's not pretend they got to play a real version of our team.

Not really. I'll give UCF credit for playing hard, but there's really no comparison between the two games. Clemson built it's lead because of their good play coupled w/ our horrible field position (from their good decisions and good special teams play). In addition, we were full strength for the Clemson game. Different situation for the UCF game. We were missing 8 or more starters plus their early lead was helped by our bad play (a pick 6 combined w/ a rally bad offensive pass interference no call on the same play). UCF wouldn't have even been in the game had LSU been close to full strength. In the 2017 & 2018 seasons, the media created the myth of "UCF is a the national title contender" to generate controversy.
