Yea they won state in 2001,2007,in 3-A. And they are 5th right now in 3-A, and always are in the top 10.

answer: They have to schedule these teams as they steal more money from the state than any other athletic program. They rob the tax payers to a tune of $6.1M each year. They have to have money games. If they are the sleeping giant that they think they are....why do they steal so much money from the tax payers? They get more money, yet do nothing with it. See LA Tech doing more with less. ULL=lol

and BTW...the only reason I dislike ULL the most in this state is because I have family envolved in ULL athletics, I know the deep hatred and penis envy some (not all) of your fans have toward LSU, including my family. "If LSU didn't get so much money we'd be good". FALSE, your athletic program gets more funding than anyone else. I wish I could root for ULL, but instead I have to root for Tech as my small conf. division I team.

Trust me I know.
But a large portion of ULL students are also LSU fans (whether or not they want to admit it).

There are more coonasses that pull for LSU than will ever pull for ULL. LSU is made of coonass accents. Nothing wrong with a coonass accent.

I've always had a deep dislike for ULL fans because of my father's constant bitching about how it's OUR fault that they suck. "If more people supported them, ULL would get way better." It's ridiculous. Of course, my mother's side of the family were LSU alumni and my dad's ULL. Might explain their divorce...

The wanna be rivals come to town. Heck, the only team in La. that has ever been considered a rival is Tulane and that is in the past. ULL/Tulane rivals in baseball, maybe. Football- paycheck for them.
