According to the profile, Mathieu was so disinterested leading up to that game that he spent 14 hours a day sleeping in the team hotel, and he told his girlfriend, “I don’t even want to play.”

Unbelievable.

I don't agree with any of this BS. These people contiually put stories out to sell their shite, and as usual people fall for this crap and start shittin on the kid. I'm grateful for what Mathieu did while playin at LSU and wish him the best of luck in the NFL. All this he cast a negative light on the program stuff because of these continous BS articles is out of control.

Valid point. Unfortunately, this doesnt apply to any of these people. They are free to judge from their lofty towers. They are perfect. Neither them nor their families need mercy from God or anyone else.

Mathieu is a dirty pirate hooker because he likes being high more than NFL first round money, his coach, teammates, the entire state of Louisiana, glory, and a national championship ring. He chose this with clear mind and conscious and this is as plan as day.

He hates LSU as much as ESPN, Herbstreit, and the club formed by Noel Ellis and Stevie Douglasses dads.

I wish could all be perfect like these ranters and Nick Saban*who never lost to UAB, daughter never disgraced herself with sorority meltdown cat fight, and son who isnt a bigger stoner than Mathieu ever was)*

Wasn't a massacre. People always say this and it isn't true. Alabama fans were nervous all the way til the 4th qtr, but when they saw Miles was still tryin to run the damn ball they got relieved. LSU was very much in the game having only givin up FG's to these people up to that point. But Herb announcing the game with Musberger was right, along with the abysmal game plan this LSU team just looked lackluster and disinterested the whole night.

Maybe not a massacre. More like a slow...methodical rape.

I wasn't talking about TM, but that fact that the entire team seemed to not be interested in the game.

1/9 is where I lost all respect for Les Miles.

I'll never forgive him for that abomination that he tried to win the national championship with.

He had it all right there for LSU, a truly dominant season with an opportunity to cap it off by beating your arch rival in your backyard to win the BCS and be considered as one of the greatest and most dominant college football teams of all time with how dominant LSU was all year long. Instead he fricked up in the worst possible way at the worst possible time.

If he has another sub par year in 2013, it basically confirms 2011 as an outlier for Les Miles IMO.

Whoa! Preach it. Truth hurts sometimes. Many Tiger fans feel the same.

Instead of being considered one of the greatest teams ever, 2011 LSU is nothing more than a footnote. Winning the SEC championship that year is pretty much irrelevant when your arch rival beats you to win a much bigger prize, the National Championship.

During and after the game, Les looked like he just didn't care.

I can't figure out why I got that impression.

And even more think that a very vocal minority of our fans are entitled little bitches who are either 1) 12 years old, 2) too drug addled to remember the 90s or 3) a combination of the above.

The truth hurts sometimes.

That game wounded my soul. I hope I live long enough to finally find out why that happened.

It wasn't just Miles. That whole team came out defeated from the get go but especially in the second half. Looked like they didn't even want to be there.

One day, that story is going to come out.

I certainly think something happened at the tail end of that season that screwed that team up. What I saw in the NCG wasn't anything near what we had seen all year long.

The offense struggled in the SECCG for the most part, but the defense came alive after a quarter. Something was wrong and I'm convinced it was more than just losing to a superior team
