Of course, that criteria excludes 90% of the people on this board.

Why Should I be willing to trade 1 Tyrann 3,000 miles away for 3,000 Tyrann's 1 mile away?

Basically hates anything that implies anything about him being little. Despises it.

While I completely understand the visceral response, I would hope that he is flattered that:

1. Football players are normally bigger than average - (a couple of examples from last night's NFL contest - Jake Long and Marc Columbo dwarf little guys like 6'3" 230 pound Chad Henne - he looks like somebody's little brother got lost among the older kids)

2. There is more discussion (and this has been going on for nearly 12 months) about the whole plethora of nicknames/potential nicknames, by far, for Tyrann Mathieu than for all other LSU players combined (basically just Freak Johnson - only other nickname discussions of note).

3. Someone would tell him, "Lighten up, Francis", except he would kill them.

T-Rex it is...

So you're saying that being called "honey badger" or "little ball of hate" gives tyrann a sore arse...(*sorry, couldn't help myself*)

Personally, I think we should call him Happy Fun Ball. DO NOT taunt happy fun ball.

You may now call me names...

This is an indictment on the Rant.

1. Forcing a nickname
2. Anything with Honey in it is embarrassing.
3. The worst part of it is that you were inspired by a video that was narrated by Perez Hilton.

It was all embarrasing to read, and you guys would have laughed your asses of had any other school named their player the "Honey Badger."

I thought it was a joke, but sadly it wasn't.

1) I do not think people get to PICK their nickname

3) The very idea that a guy object to a name because of "honey" is silliness

BHP, you are begging for the rant to start calling you honey. Or honey britches.

I thought the honey badger thing was an hour-long joke until I saw people referring to him as that for days. Then I thought it was just lame and sad.

But yes, the rant loves some nicknaming. Almost as much as re-hashing the old Chuck Norris jokes with their new favorite player.

He was not unlike the Tasmanian Devil when he stripped that ball, whirled around, picked it up, and ran it in.
