With the cramping issues with PP7, he is def an asset and huge part of the team. And he is always forcing turnovers or recovering fumbles or INTs. Were gonna have some studs at DB for the next few years

He is great on the blitz and the strip tonight was BIG.
But, i do see him behind on coverage a good bit.
Kid is a true freshman though and making a name for himself. He just plays so hard

Anytime the ball is loose, he is somewhere nearby.

It is uncanny.

finally we play our studs.. regardless if they are true fresh or not. i remember it took nearly half the season of peterson freshman year to get significant playing time.

PP7 said that Mathieu was better then he was as a true freshman. Claiborne said that he is just as good or better then him. All of this was said during the summer, before the season began. I bet there all blown away by this kid.

He gets flack for that bomb in the UTk game.

Watch it again. He was actually in perfect coverage. Simms actually threw a perfect pass, and there is no defense for a perfect pass.
