DBs had decent coverage and FSU let their WR make a play

Exactly right.
2019 Burrow first TD at Bama. Threw it up for grabs and let your WR make a play and Chase did.

I think Nabers said that Nussmeir trusted them to make plays when he was throwing to them, and that's what you have to do trust your WRs to make plays. Daniels wants to wait, hold the ball until someone comes open, by then he's under pressure and scramblin around or taking off and running. You have to throw your WRs open, and what I mean by that is throw the damn ball and let them go and get it, make a play on it like we're saying on here. You and others on here are right, Burrows threw to his guys and let them make plays and they did all of the time.

Burrow did that a million times in ‘19. Imagine Jefferson and Chase’s season if Burrow refused to throw them open or anticipate their route.

Daniels fid make one throw like that and missed it. He threw a corner shot to Nabors and it was too low and hit the DB in the back. Ball over the DBs head is a good chance for a catch. After the play Nabors pointed to JD to aim higher

If JD would have given Nabors a better 50/50 ball on the first drive, and given him other chances it could have been a similar kind of night for him.

Swap QB with FSU and LSU wins easily! The shitty part is BK has never had a qb like that and wants a safer short passing running qb if his past continues.

No doubt, and that is exactly why I would not give up on this group of DBs yet. While they made some mistakes, the FSU/Wrs (probably the best group we'll see all season) made some superb plays.

Imagine how much easier JD's job would be if he had Jefferson and Chase. Wouldn't be Burrowesqe, but it sure would help. Dropped passes don't help the offense much.
