Towels and "shakers" are ghey. I'm a giant foam finger guy. And maybe a "foam dome" beer hard hat.

I don't like it all. At least it won't be those fig pom poms like the gumps use every game.

Towel waiving is fruity. No offense to any fruitcakes.

I agree. Clapping and yelling is the best way.

towels = visual effect

vocal cords = stadium noise.

use the towels inbetween plays/when the team runs out, but when we're on defense use your hands to clap and yell at the top of your lungs.

I am going to the game and will not twirl a towel. This behavior is for other teams, but traditionally LSU fans intimidate by making noise not by a towel. If you want to twirl a towel, go to the saints games.

funny how games in general with towels and shakers are so much louder than otherwise - did you see the Penn St fans? the Ga fans? the SF Giant fans? and on and on. The excitement of something different and how great it looks makes the fans LOUDER so get over it

Kyle field will never be as loud as Tiger Stadium because clapping adds a unique, higher pitched and stadium-filling noise to the environment that yelling alone can't do. Don't twirl. Clap.

The world record clap is 72dB and the average yell is 100dB. Yell deep...lower frequency travels better than high. Use hands cupped directing your voice to the field toward the Crimson turd with the ball.
