He needs to remember it's not about just his performance. I don't view September 8 as a dead day in history.
Competitive people are harsh on themselves. I understand what he means. Trust me, this is a good thing.

Just keep your eye on the ball rest of season.

I made this thread as a good thing. He is a hardworker and is dedicated to get better and it rubs off on the team. This team is great

It's good to not be satisfied but it's bad to dwell on the negative as a player so much so that you press to the point of allowing the mental aspect of the game overtake your talent.

Just means he's put it behind him...next play, can't dwell.

I want his best game to be against bama anyway.

I don't think he is. He is vowing to put it behind and never repeat.

No, firing a coach every two years in an attempt to show that failure is not an option is the quickest way to destroy a program.

You don't think tweeting about it on Monday indicates that he may not be moving past it too quickly? I mean, it was just one game. It wasn't his best game, but he's a very capable guy and I want him to just move on entirely.
You know it's a slow week when this is the analysis on Monday.

Does it? You were probably the guy calling for Les Miles' head until last year. And if we don't go the NC game every year, you'll probably want him fired again. Negatigers are generally under 25, usually still in school and have little life experience or perspective.

Means he is a competitive guy, judges himself harshly and is is determined to perform better.
Helluva lot better than claiming he played a good game afterward.

Well shite he's not JJ dude.

Thanks for posting. Glad to hear he holds himself accountable.
Some of these tards will spin anything in a negative light. Very miserable to read.

Odell is quickly becoming a favorite player to watch
Hes got a great attitude
Bet you he doesn't drop another pass all year

Wow, his team won 41-3. It was a great day. Team first dude.
This is a retarded statement. Odell is a team player, he is merely saying he knows he had a bad game. He knows he can't play like that against good teams and expect us to be able to overcome it.
If he fumbles the first kickoff against Bama he puts us in a world of hurt.
I'm glad he had this game, he'll come out ballin' from here out.

No, LSU dominated on offense and defense, minus a few drops. He needs to remember it's not about just his performance. I don't view September 8 as a dead day in history.
Does this work the other way also? Is he going to be ecstatic if we lose but he catches 7 balls for 110 yards and a TD?
How stupid. You going to start saying how ODB3 is not a team player now because he tweeted that? Kid didn't have a good game by any means and is frustrated by it and does not want it to happen again.
Would you rather someone who doesn't want to get better and someone who doesn't give a shite that he dropped like 3 or 4 passes and fumbled a kickoff?
Clearly the kid wants to win and wants to be the best player that he can be each and every week.
Think before you post stupid crap like that.

He had a bad day, he's a great player, he'll be fine.
