Damn this is just like recruiting. These kids eat the attention up. He knew what kind of shite storm he would start with this kind of cryptic tweet. Don't get me wrong, I'm dialed in to see what it's about. But he knew exactly what he was doing when posting this.

LOL he sent it via twitter so the masses would react. What do you mean "let the kid be"?

Agreed. He wants to generate buzz about whatever it is. I hope it is personal and non-football related. I have watched Key since freshman year and have high hopes for his future at LSU and on Sundays for many years to come.

At any rate, I doubt this is religious. Isn't it sacrilegious to generate media for yourself touting your faith?

Coulda sworn he posted something on IG a couple weeks ago about how he proposed to his GF... So I don't think it's that. Pretty sure LSU has nothing to worry about when it comes to him not playing this fall... He gunna be there

I think maybe he has reviewed tape of the projected number one overall pick in this year's NFL draft and has decided to:

NOT play run defense
Take games off against big opponents
Take plays off in each game
Really BALL OUT against inferior foes and have minimal impact against SEC rivals.

A guy with this picture as his profile pic tweets about making a life changing decision and some of you think he's leaving the program?

If he's been off on a soul-searching mission to set himself straight, then he doesn't seem to have learned much. That behavior requires humility, and tweeting out every aspect of your personal and professional life is not humble. Let your actions speak for themselves. Don't brag about getting 20 sacks next year - just go out and do it.

Anyway you slice it, taking a "leave of absence" a year before potentially and likely being a top pick in the draft is strange. Also puts you a bit behind (conditioning, year 2 Aranda's defense). Nfl teams are probably already digging as to why. Nevertheless hope he's good to go and in a good place come fall.

Anybody ever told you that you're a self righteous prick?

Just in case, YOU'RE A SELF RIGHTEOUS PRICK!

Now, go back to telling yourself how cool you are and quit trashing a kid that's attempting to improve himself!

DOUCHE BAG!
