Are those HD channels? I just noticed that the ALT HD channel said to check the same non-HD channel for alternate broadcasting. I was just looking at the HD ALT channels, and not checking the non-HD ALT channels, since I assumed they would both show the same programing, one in HD and one in non-HD.

I have direct Tv in TEXAS and have never seen anything on SEC ALT??

Nope, it wasn't on any of the alternate channels for dish or direct

I have DirecTV and I pay for the extra sports packages. The alt channel never shows anything except for a Directv logo.

Same thing with DISH - I've been calling their customer service and complaining, and I never get a logical explanation.

Only direct tv has a problem with secn a. Other carriers are showing it . On the phone with direct yesterday with direct for over an hour talking to supervisor and complaint about Friday night .
Consolation is they have me a. $10 per month credit for the next year . He told me not too many have called otherwise direct would give attention to the matter . Please encourage every one to complain, and insist on speaking with supervisor. !

Have Direct TV HD package and the Alt Channel has been on once in memory. I have complained to DTV CS and they say it's discretion of programming, WETF that means. Of course the fing LHN is on.
