The Tre Morgan play & don’t remember catcher was better

Arrambide's play tonight was more difficult than Milazzo's role in that Morgan play. If we're just talking about the difficulty of the play each made and not the totality of it. Morgan getting that ball to Milazzo as quickly as he did and as important as that play was (it saved the season and a championship) is what made it so good. Milazzo basically had to make a swipe tag. Those are made all the time. What Arrambide did was a crazy athletic play you rarely see from a catcher. But it was in a midweek game that doesn't matter in the pantheon of the program so it will likely be forgotten by next week

Tre is one of my top 3 favorite players do that has more to do with my opinion than skill

Yeah but, on a totally unrelated note, Milazzo broke his leg to score in the championship final so he gets unlimited street cred as LSU's catcher.

Skenes piggy back ride is an enduring image from that celebration for me.

my immediate thought and the he qualified it with “in foul territory”

what’s funny is it looks like he slipped a little and just stabbed at it and was surprised he got it. lol

We went to Omaha for the final in '23 and Tre Morgan was both of my son's favorite player. He talked to them and signed a ball for them before the first game against Florida. I don't think they'll ever forget it.

I had big hopes for Plog. He’s hard to pick up and throws fairly hard.

Plog just had an inning that you wish Cooper Williams would do......
