But it does seem like catastrophe has predictably set in after one loss

The loss simply brings out what many have been thinking all along aside from the UW game. The offense is not good, and against good teams, we're in for a long night. We've been struggling against bad teams.

Really?

We were dropped to 13 in the polls and we are 9 now

The only doom and gloom I hear is from our own fanbase

You think Spurrier thinks he is walking into Tiger Stadium next Saturday for an easy win? Not no, but frick no. But all of our dumb arse fans think that it's the case. Take a look around. You aren't surrounded by the best and brightest. You're surrounded by a bunch of 4 year old kids throwing a fit because their team lost an ugly football game.

How is this different from 6 games in to the 2003 season

Offense SUCKED against both UGA and UF and blew out a bunch of nobody teams

We found our identity after the loss

On defense, not at all

I like how you ignored the last part of my post. Again if we could have scored a "measly 17 points," we'd still be talking national championship.

Okay, well lets see if we find our identity.

Did we get blown out by the top 10 team?

No. We lead for most of the game. We just didn't finish.

Where did I say anything about getting blown out by a top 10. You are the one comparing everything leading up to the UF game. If you want to compare the losses, that is an entirely different story.

I love how you are changing your argument in mid-stream to try and counter legitimate points countering your weak argument.

This team hasn't beaten a ranked team much less a top 10 team. They aren't comparable at all just because both lost to UF with poor offensive performances.

Against UGA we ran 72 offensive plays and had a whopping 285 yards

That's about the same yard per play average as yesterday (slightly less) but we had more plays

And that was with a better group of WRs

Maybe the WRs of 2012 will be like the RBs of 2003 and find their voice mid season? One can hope.

No

It wasn't

SO You are saying that the 2012 D is better than the 2003 D???? If so you are a complete dumbass.

The same Jimbo Fisher that managed 0 offensive points against UF in 2003.

If you remember we had a ton of penalties in that game it was sooo sloppy. We were sky high from the Georgia game and it was a let down. Also
Leak had the plays shouted to him from the sidelines every play. Saban's defense wasn't use to that ,and they were burned on several blitzes.

The defense is comparable

In fact I would say that this defense is obviously better than the 2003 defense

Again, your memory is fiction. We played MSU and then had a bye week before UF. If we were still sky high from a ballgame that happened 3 weeks prior then that's one hell of an excuse

What makes the 2003 defense better?

He's not the first person to make that mistake. I don't see how people have already forgotten the 2003 schedule.

The 03 Florida loss was due to Saban coming off a bye week more than anything.

This team may not turn it around like the 2003 team

But if I've proven anything it's that the memories of the 2003 team on this board are all based on a fiction that has been recreated because we were eventual national champions.

The 2003 team dropped to 13 in the polls after a terrible loss to UF

I agree with this. However I do NOT see THIS LSU team making a run like the 2003 team did after the FLA loss. They destroyed every team they played except Ole Miss. THIS LSU team does not have the coachhing to do what 2003 did.

I wouldn't call less than 250 yards of total offense an offensive explosion

But you're a fricking drunk redneck so we're not expecting you to say anything smart

And it's doubtful that most LSU fans thought we would do likewise after the UF game in 2003

That's sort of the whole point here

Ya know what??? frick YOU PUNK. ANYTIME BITCH... ANYTIME. YOU just CAN'T HANDLE being wrong. Your whole arguement about the 2102 D being better than the 2003 D is just WRONG and a waste of your time. TRY some constructive posting from now on. You act like NOBODY else on here has watched any LSU football but you. You are a pathetic frickING LOSER.FACT.

You sound intelligent.

Do you think you could explain Heisenberg's uncertainty principle to me? That always throws me for a loop. Maybe your brilliance could offer a more clear explanation.
