No it won’t.
It can’t get any worse on the field than it did last night. It was clear these players have no interest in playing hard for Orgeron or for his job.
So the only way it could get worse is if you start having a bunch of off field issues, and the players like and respect both Mickey and Corey too much to really start those shenanigans.

Agree!!!!!! Plus Raymond may very well be the sole survivor of this staff. Also like I’ve said before Woody’s goal is to find 3 more wins and win a shitty bowl to finish on a high note at 7-6. I would 100000000% put Raymond in that spot. Like I’ve said before I have absolutely no inside scoop on the interim. Raymond is only my choice personally. Think imma hit the Saints bored for a bit (shite show forming quickly with this group as well). When I here something I will come back and post it if it’s not already news here. Like if said O is absolutely out!!!!!!!!!!!

I would be happy for Raymond if he gets it, but I agree with this. He and Brad Davis are likely the only two guys who will get serious consideration to stay on under a new head coach. If Raymond is the interim, then he’s gone. A new coach almost certainly won’t keep him.

I am not normally a super critical fan but I think it speaks volumes about O’s staff that there isn’t an obvious option to turn to to be the HC for a few months.
All that said, I think you make Raymond the interim. He has been a loyal asset to this program, and does not seem to have HC ambition. Show him you trust and appreciate him and even need him to begin righting the ship

I think it’s obvious that E would be given the job. Wether he takes it is another story but I think he would. He’s all LSU and would be by far the best guy to steady them ship and hand the program off to the new coach on solid ground. This team is talented with some good players and more to be coming in this class especially at OL and QB. He’d be the guy I’d trust most to keep as many kids in this class as possible considering the situation and also hold onto current players from bolting to the transfer portal. I just don’t see how they can send that team out there Saturday with O still coach though which is why I think we will have news in the best 24 hours. Woodward would have preferred to fire O after the season but his hand has been forced to act now.
