What kind of evidence does the NCAA have access to?

I find it amusing that the usual cast of characters would find joy in such a scenario. The insecurity and fear brought to so many by a championship winning coach is a curious dynamic within our fanbase.

I'm a huge fan of Wade, back him 100%

But if Woodward decides he has to go, then so be it.

I'm also 100% convinced Woodward will do what's best for LSU, no matter how much fans may dislike it.

I think this is where the buck will stop with this whole situation. Since nothing was admitted into evidence (that we know of), then the NCAA has nothing to go on.

I find it amusing that your level of reading and comprehension (and I'll throw in lack of humor) makes you conclude such a thing.

Try to imagine Hillary kissing Trump on the mouth. The odds of that happening are greater than of Woodward firing Wade.

doesn’t mean the NCAA is going to walk away from the investigation.

When was it announced that the ncaa is investigating? I must’ve missed that announcement.

So you would laugh about firing Will Wade and the impending destruction of the BB program. Yeah, you’re no LSU fan.

But isn't Woodward here to help LSU?

I trust Woodward to make the right moves. That was beaten out of me with alleva.

If he did it I'd know that there was probably no other option. He's proven his competence as an AD.

The situation is completely different now. With Joe "Amateur Hour" Alleva gone, we can be a lot more confident that if that's what it came down to, it would only happen after considerable, intelligent investigation and analysis and not some knee jerk first response followed by a halfassed "search" and settling for the last coach available that nobody wanted (let's just call it "The Orgeron").

The ONLY way WW should be fired from LSU is if he gets an NCAA show clause.

Could you imagine? I certainly wouldn't want this to happen, but it would almost be worth witnessing the melt.

I cannot speak for other people but if absolute proof or evidence comes to light that Wade broke NCAA rules, then I would be support his termination. My issue with termination and suspension at this time is because there is no absolute proof or evidence that he has broken any NCAA rules. Wade asked that people wait until the 'full' story comes out. As of now the full story has not come out and all the facts have not been made public. Technically there is no 'smoking gun' on the wiretap conversations that have leaked that indicates Wade actually paid anybody anything or did anything that broke NCAA rules. And in my honest opinion I believe there is proof and evidence that has not been made public that will completely exonerate Wade from any wrongdoing. Will Wade is not a dumbass. He is a very intelligent man. And if there was anything, even the most minute information that could possibly be found that proves he has broken NCAA rules I don't think he would have tried to get his job back. He is smart enough to know if there is evidence the NCAA will find it.
