Yeah me either, but to act like Tre, Crews, Berry, Doughty, Dugas isn’t one of the best 1-5 as far as talent goes in the country is crazy

LSU last year went .500 in SEC play, and made a regional by the skin of their teeth. The guys who returned from last season look pretty much the same. I'm just not seeing it when people say we have all-world talent.

When is the BS gonna stop? CPM has nothing to do with what is going on with the Defensive struggles…. The people that agree with you look like a bunch of morons. You could say he was down with the pitching recruits, but that’s it. And honestly pitching is not the damn problem.

I was saying to can him after the 2014 disaster with losing at home in the regionals to Houston after being in the winners bracket but people said I was nuts.

You’re one of those that thinks that pitching is the problem? Before this weekend we had the 3rd best pitching staff in the SEC. Even after this weekend we still have the 4th best staff.

We have some very good hitters. But, they're not good enough to just show-up and bludgeon SEC pitching.
I really think CJJ misjudged this (based on how AZ handled OM in the Super's last year and did against Rocker in Omaha).
I think it would benefit our cause to learn to manufacture a run here-n-there and let big innings arise out of that context.

That is a sore spot with me to this day. We had given up 1 run to UH through 16 innings and were up 4-0 to start the 8th and we lose the regional.

Some CPM and DVH info:
In the CPM era ('07-'21), we held an 11-3 series record vs Arky. And went 34-17 head-to-head in all games (there were some in the SECT and in Omaha but none in '20).
DVH has been at Arky since '03. In that time frame he's won 5 series vs us ('04 (swept us in BR), '11, '19, and '21-'22).
