O the meltdown that will ensue if Les starts Rivers next year.

If Jennings was closer to graduate, then yes.

The only way Harris should burn his RS is if I were to come in and absolutely blow Jennings out of the water.

Let me take a look at your highlight tape first. Then we'll talk.

I work for Cobb County...Jennings is legit and is much more a passer than runner. He wont hesitate to take what the defense gives him. I also thought he looked really sharp in the spring game as well. Im stoked to see what he can do behind center next year. The smart thing would be to RS Harris IMHO.

Redshirting players to save a year of eligibility is no longer the thing to do. Three years is all you can expect, if he"a that good

Depends on the depth chart and position. I wouldn't be surprised if Harris is redshirted so he and Rettig are staggered.

No way

I saw Jennings play in the spring game. Now he was playing with all second stringers around him. The first team D was sending 5 every play he had the most poise in the pocket I had seen in a while at LSU. Not to mention the kid is smart and throws to his check down.

He took a helmet to the chest from A. Johnson, got up and delivered another strike downfield with pressure in his face from Johnson again.

Jennings looks like a Manziel type in the sense that it doesn't quite matter what the talent is offensively around him, he makes plays happen. And that's how all great LSU QBs have been.

Not to mention he will force every team to put atleast 8 in the box to stop him from running. We have a solid wide recieving corps next year as well.

Next years offense will be the most exciting we have seen in a while. Les Miles has been recruited pulling in awesome offensive recruiting classes. Time to start pick stud defenders. The SEC is rebuilding defenses this year so it's an arms race.

This. Used to be, the 2 best QBs in LSU history were Y.A. Tittle and whoever the current backup is. Now it's Y.A. and whoever next year's high school phenom incoming freshman is.
LSU fans are morons. Or children. Or both.

In discussions that I've heard Cam compared Brandon Harris to Antwaan Randle El but even more of a threat as a passer. The entire staff, including Cam, likes Jennings a lot. Cam RAVES about Brandon Harris.

Jennings hasn't proven a whole lot yet, but I really think Harris is a redshirt next year although I could see him as #3 qb on the roster.

Jennings, rivers, rettig will be ahead of Harris. That's tough. It would help to stagger the classes anyway. I think as a redshirt fr he will be ready to compete for serious reps.

Except for qb's. They almost always do better with a redshirt year to grow into the system. I'd like to see Harris redshirt and Jennings start next year unless Harris is just that much better. Also don't forget about Rettig hanging in their. He's supposed to be good also.

I'm just really happy Les seems to be getting good quality qb to commit now. They were missing that for a few years.

Kinda hard to believe that Johnson got pressure in a game type situation, I mean it hasn't happened all year. Just kidding.

Depends. If they come in, pick up the system and show they can play, play them. If Jennings or Harris are as good as advertised, they'll both be gone after three years of eligibility. If they are a project or down on the depth chart, makes sense to redshirt.
