How many of the six were born in Louisiana?

This is a good one. The only two I’m not sure of are Pettit and Cannon. The other four, Shaq, Maravich, Burrow, and Daniels, were not.

Given that, I’ll guess one and assume either Pettit or Cannon were.

Bob Pettit was born in Baton Rouge. And while Cannon wasn’t born in Louisiana (he was born in Mississippi), he grew up in LA and went to Istrouma High.

Very good. He did it for A&M, so it doesn’t really count. Was that when Bryant was still there?

None of the Heisman winners and Maravich and Shaq were born elsewhere, so one (Bob Pettit).
