Would somebody please give me the background on this ridicolous statement I see on here sometimes. Was this a serious suggestion by a poster at one time? If true that is a whole new level of retard.

yes

the premise was that he would be so fast off the edge that no OL would be able to block him, and that he was so short, they wouldn't be able to get their hands on him

We pretty much concluded that he would be virtually unblock-able off the edge but, not sure if he could actually take down a QB once he got there.

It was all a pipe dream as Les would never make the move. Best DE that ever played was Ratphuc Hobley.

Wait Wut?

Holy shite. This whole time, I just assumed the Holiday thing was an exaggerated joke related to the typical fan's football knowledge.

But, holy cow.

We will never know, but I'm in the camp that believes it would be the greatest thing ever. I mean Rudy got the sack in the movie and Trindon was at least twice as fast as Rudy...

if they see trindon at DE, then they are morons if they don't switch from a pass play to a run play right at him
