I think he should come back to LSU and use up his track eligibility.

You can find successful 6' qbs in NFL history, I doubt you'll find any successful 5'5'' recievers.

From nola.com:
Kubiak doesn't know.... and yet he drafted TH in the sixth round?
quote:
"He's way behind, he's got a long way to go to prove to this team that he knows what he's doing, " Kubiak said. "I don't know how much offense he played there (at LSU), in terms of what was expected of him. There are not many specialists in this business. You better know what you're doing across the board."

Wasn't implying that....I mentioned earlier that he should be utilized on special teams for p/r's and k/o's.
He's way to small to be a receiver in the NFL - DB's would eat his lunch coming across the middle.

LSU players = tons of talent but horrible training.
The Les Miles signature....
STFU....
How many 5'5" recievers are in the NFL.....
Trindon never really played reciever at LSU and understandably soooo....
Players sucess beyond college is relative to their work ethics....
They are supposed to have gained the fundamentals to the next level as they progress from peewee to middle school to high school to college...ect....
Trindon has a distict disadvantage in playing wide receiver in terms of is fisicality and height....
He specialty at LSU was special teams and he excelled in that area...
We enjoyed field psotion and it proved necessary relative to the lack of offensive production the past two seasons....
Teams could gain from the field position alone....
Having him on the field is also a disadvantage offesively because of the limited role he is able to play because it allows the defense to dtermine the probability of certain plays based on the personnel package..... ie Trindon on the field....leadest to predictability.

Exactly what Saban is saying to all the recruits. Another hurdle Les has to overcome on the recruiting trail..
..and Saban players are tearing it up in the pros?
Who? Bradie James?

Not surprised considering they drafted a running back to play WR.

He was never a football player he was a track star from the beginning. How many times do we have to explain this
just because he comes from lsu doesn't mean you have to kiss his arse and make excuses for him

Texans are probably going to make the playoffs this year and had a pretty good team last year

he was a Heisman trophy finalist and was the 1st pick of the 2nd round. 2nd round picks are suppose to make it

Actually I think the raiders now own that distinction.

whoever said the kid isn't smart how would you know that? have you given him tests?
he was underutilized at LSU, and should have gotten 10 to 12 touches a game because of his breakaway abilty, he should have been used as a scatback at LSU plain and simple, with either them running him off of misdirection plays or throwing to him coming out of the backfield.
but LSU tried to use him like a normal RB sometimes, complete joke, they hardly threw to him, and never got in out in space to use his speed. Now you have a kid in the NFL with talent, but doesn't know how to do anything because of how LSU's braintrust used him. Way to go Tiger staff.

One of the most mystifying things I have seen the past few years, outside of some of the more obvious including the misuse of Shepard last season was the way Holiday was absolutely wasted and used.
Posted on 6/3/10 at 1:07 pm to RogerTheShrubber
true that, Shepard would be at another school having put up ridiculous stats last year out of the Wildcat and passing, but he chose LSU because he loves the school, so much he's willing to be a receiver.
Posted on 6/3/10 at 1:12 pm to tubucoco
Misusing talent is becoming a Miles trademark. Let's see, we had numerous QB issues in 2008 combined with numerous QB issues in 2009 (among other problems). We just signed the best dual threat QB player in the country, and what does Miles do? Doesn't give him a legit shot at QB and puts him at another position.
Posted on 6/3/10 at 1:12 pm to MSMHater
Was most impressed by him a few times in LSU career--OM KO return for TD, 2006 Spring Game...among others. Otherwise, I am very surprised that he is in the NFL.

Speculation and plain stupidity....
So lest look at the top three schools in the SEC last year...
OK can't do that because LSU was #3 so, lets look at Bama and Florida...
You think he plays QB at either school... NO frickING WAY...
he wouldn't have seen the playing field with Tebow, Rainey, Demps
or
McElroy, Ingram, Richardson...
How about if he stays home and goes to UT...
Another big NO frickING way....
so... I don see how he becomes some mega star at any of these schools out of the wild cat...
I love the fact that RS choose LSU and is an ambassador for LSU, is intellegent and is a team player...
However your comment is speculative and stupid...
Posted on 6/3/10 at 1:57 pm to tlee7stud
how do you expect a world class sprinter to just become a competent WR at 5'5?
he shouldn't even be a WR, he should be listed at that and just return kicks.

to clear it up for you you numbskull, I'm referrin to any school in the country, some that need a QB right away like RR at Michigan, but this kid comes to LSU because he loves the school. This kid is another Pat White all over again, but better IMO and we all know what White did at WV.
