LSU is scary good now if Miles, Cameron and Steele come up with a good game plan against Bama and perhaps Trey will be a surprise secret agent under cover?

:
. Lsu won't be scary good until they fix special teams and harden up that secondary.

Quinn has been officially clocked in the 40 at 4.38 while Johnson a 4.52.

I love playing this game. Okay so Odell ran a 4.43 at the NFL combine and that was his official time. Ruben Randel 4.55. Brandon Lafell 4.54.

Your telling me Quinn is faster than all 3 as a sophomore in college?

The dislike for TQ is far more of a mystery on this board than the number of his "fanboys".

Good try though.

Everyone on here saying next year is going to be his breakout year are the same people in the spring saying this year was going to be his breakout year. Although he has been working really hard in the off-season, once coaches make up their minds about you, you can do all you want but you will never see the field much again.

He'd be better off just transferring. First off, as a top receiver with many offers, I don't know why you chose LSU unless you have a complexion that you will be the big breakout star. Harris has talent but like Jennings, he just locks onto the same receiver every time.

It's hard to really know how much he can excel or if he has in fact hit a ceiling. He is in the wrong offense for his skill set so we will never know. I heard Texas Tech and Clemson were recruiting him pretty intensely. Texas Tech is known for passing and also this guy named Wes Welker (basically a Quinn clone).

We always rag on the LA guys that go out of state to play versus viewing it from their standpoint. You can go to the state school and maybe start or somewhere else and get snaps right away. Perhaps Quinn should have opted for a more prolific passing program.

But it superbly answers the question of what's the fascination with him.

On Quinn. It's not like he was a victim here. Guys, if he didn't drop those balls against Bama, and if he didn't cause the penalty on his own catch, maybe he'd be getting more reps. I'm glad our coaches bench the guys who make the most mistakes.

Who knows maybe you are right about him being only 4th or 5th best on this team. However why is it so hard to understand the attention this kid has on him? He earned it and people like myself who watched the kid play and expect to see him have more opportunities!
Instead the 2 drops last year is all some care to speak about while others have had many more drops. To say he isn't as good as another is not what some have noticed. Frankly the only thing that is obvious is we don't throw him the ball! Many people have seen this kid do incredible things on the field and believe in his abilities! For those who never had the opportunity to witness his career but only last years Alabama game I respect your opinion. However, for those who know more about what this kid can do then understand that regardless what others may think or say we will always look forward to watching him play. I hope he continues to play for LSU but regardless I will be a fan as long as he plays football. I have watched many great players through the years but until the next great one he stands the best I've personally watched play in High School!

Telling the truth isn't the same as disliking him. He isn't one of our top WRs at this time. It's that simple.

Are you from Barbe or the Lake Charles area? Otherwise, why are you so earnest in predicting Trey stuff? I'm sure he is motivated to redeem himself, but it has nothing to do with your predictive capabilities or intuition.

Apparently you weren't paying attention to all the drops some of the starters made earlier in the season.

Agree. This kid is not a quitter and is showing his strong character at this time. Don't know many who would go from being the all time yardage record holder to accepting the role he has now and not complain. He is the definition of a team player!

Yeah. And he's a real gym rat too. A real grinder.

Seriously though, I want to see him on punt returns.

Thru the first 4 games....Dural & Dupre dropped A LOT of Passes....Quinn would not be allowed to stay on the field had he dropped that many... are there a different set of rules?

We're a running team. Who do you think is a better blocker, Quinn or Diarse?
