Those workouts make you feel light on your feet playing on grass, in pads and against someone. Helps a whole bunch on lower coordination with your feet while focusing on the catch, works the crap out of your calves also. The little things make a huge difference and I just hope the rest of the class has this young mans work ethic!!! If so it's going to be a great year! If not they can learn from guys like LF, Trey, BH, and MD. Lots of kids have that sense of entitlement, love the youngsters we are now recruiting need more like this and not just talent, size, and speed.

Trey is your son? If so well done on producing a quality young man, a fine football player and most importantly a TIGER!!! I can't wait to see him break some records!

Yeah, but if you take out height, he still has everything else. No matter what anybody says, he runs At Least a sub 4.50 at 200-205lbs. Great hops, sticky fingers, blocks like a beast, runs routes like a seasoned vet. I just don't see how he doesn't take at least starting slot position, at the beginning of the season.

I'd use Beckham in this case. Beckham had over 400 yards and a TD as a true freshman. Didn't stop him at 5'11 and he didn't have the route experience nor strength of Quinn. For point of reference, Marquez North (6'4 220lbs) had over 400 yards and a TD as a true freshman last year.

That's two totally different players with similar stats as true freshman. Height isn't everything in college.

He is taller than ODB was and already has the better athletic ability, even though he is just coming out of HS, so I think he will be just fine. If he was black he would be the 2nd most hyped recruit we have this year IMO but it's just a fact that people traditionally prefer black guys at all skill positions other than QB.

Yes it's true but knowing the admins I'll probably get banned for saying that. I probably should edit!

J Reed was 5'10"/5'11", depending who you believe and did it matter?
Crisp, clean routes and 2ft separation > 2"ht all day.

Tigrlee I see you have found a few cohorts. You must be thrilled you have someone agreeing with your position. Racism is keeping the white man down.

Yo, forget measurements.. You do know this guy, Quinn, set the all time receiving record? He broke freaking Dorial Green-Beckham's national record for career receiving yards.. Against legit high school competition. I believe that is where it matters the most.. On the field..

But yes the guy is a track guy and one of the fastest guys on the team. I can't imagine anyone of importance saying he is 6'2.. They may have said 6'ft (his listed height) but I do believe 5'11. Jarvis and Odell are both right around 5'11-6'ft..

He has nice ups too.

I guess I should have rephrased my initial question. I wonder how effective training with rubber bands is VS the olympic lifts ( clean, jerk, snatch and their derivations), sprinting, and 110 yard conditioning tests that are used in Moffitts program. That and practicing routes.

First off, you come across as slightly MR but you think he isn't doing any of that? This is basically a commercial for Unique Fitness. See that first word in their title, Unique, kind of gives away the fact that this will be a video of non-traditional training methods.

Resistive plyometrics which is basically what this is, is exactly what every athlete does to get more power and explosion in their moves. I see nothing wrong with any of the training in that video. And the resistive cables you see means they can increase the resistance during the movements he is performing and will be performing on the field. Increased resistance leads to increased strengths in the same muscle groups he will be using when he is playing.
