Woodward had no choice. I’d love to see what some of you unrealistic idiots would have done if you were in his position. On second thought, I’m glad you were not in his position. You would have retained WW and therefore put the football program at major risk too.

Major college basketball is a result only business. A lot of “really good guys” get fired all the time because they can’t win. If being a “really good guy” matter, someone like Charlie Strong would still be the HC at Texas. Unfortunately for Chuck, despite what people who sit atop high horses say, winning is ALL that matters.
