Dude went 3-for-21 from beyond the arc in the last five games, then turns it around for a 27 point, 11 assist performance

The kid is special. I can't wait to see what he does when the talent around him increases ten fold next year.

That is not a shot at this years team either.

He seems to have some issues with longer defenders getting in his face all game. I think when we have Javonte, the opponents can't put their best perimeter defender on Tremont all the time and he'll flourish.

Also will have better players to dish it to. Hell, they may even be prepared for his passes.

There was 1 NBA scout at the game Saturday. When asked which player/players he was there to see, his answer: Tremont Waters. He was the scout for the Memphis Grizzlies.

He's had a few games recently when he's been a bit disengaged. One of those was Auburn where they just overwhelmed LSU from the start and UT locked up Waters pretty good. In those games you saw a little Freshman inexperience where things weren't going well early and he got frustrated. But he is still, already, the best pure PG LSU has had since Randy Livingston. He can completely control a game without scoring much, but also has the ability to have a huge offensive night.

He's unique in that he can make everyone around him much better, but can do it all himself while also having the stones to take huge shots. Simmons was the same way except for the guts to be the man to take the big shots when everything is on the line. It's not something that can be taught.
