I have NOT done the numbers but I don’t think he hit well the last 2 games against Oregon. We miss his bat.

I think if he can hit the ball where the defense is not positioned, then he would have more success

Pitchers have scouted him and know he struggles with the breaking ball. He is Like Seranno. Maybe he can borrow Joe Boo to take the fear from his bat. :)

He has been a HR swing lately instead of just hitting ball where it is not choking up. he looked ridiculous last night

He is one of the best players on the team. He had 1 or 2 bad games. It’s baseball. It happens.

Paul is tinkering again, sometimes it works other times we pay for it. Leave the man in the two hole please. Arnold 3rd Dugas 4th move Drew to 5th.

Last night he looked like he was trying to hit a 6 run home run instead of slapping it around - which that’s his ammo. Hopefully he turns it around today

He let's the ball travel way too far. Sometimes that's beneficial, others it is not. He is still a stud and will find it.

Beloso kicks too high and isn't getting his foot down in time. Also is too upright when swinging.

Milazzo stands too far off the plate. Along with many other issues. But moving closer would likely help him immediately. Over a month ago the coaches should have gotten Milazzo to do nothing but try to hit it opposite field every at bat, even if it is beyond weak. Set a foundation of contact for next year. Instead they have watched him go deeper and deeper into suck and who knows where his confidence is.

Thompson is a big kid who doesn't use his body. If he ever learned to get into his core and legs like Crews does, he would start hitting much harder. Cant alligator arm balls in college

The entire team outside or Crews and Morgan cannot hit the ball away. They try to pull it and that results in the pop ups and lazy grounder. It's a major red flag also when your weakest hitters can't even bunt.

Doughty actually hits well the other ways the issue is once he started hitting well the other way he lost almost all power to the pull side

Everyone on this team tries to 3 true outcome the baseball and hit a Homer rather than get on base with hits

Their approach is awful and I put that on coaching. College pitchers rarely have many tricks up their sleeves. It's rare that any of them are legit three pitches or four. Last night the starter was going to throw the cutter away to right handed all night. Why we're they so incompetent at seeing it the second and third time through?
We at home know what's coming but this team never seems to catch on. The ump sucked but it wouldn't have mattered, they were still looping at it trying to pull balls.

Hello????? Anyone that can "hit the ball where the defense is not positioned" will be a better hitter! Morgan is the only one that can hit to the opposite field. If Crews would take those outside pitches (where everyone is pitching him) to right field, he would be hitting over .400. Nobody else on the team can hit to the opposite field---shouldn't our HITTING coach know that????

That's one thing I can say for OM, they have a great offense.
