Doubt he plays this weekend, but very promising that he is out there today. “4 and 1 are also good” is the other text I received today.

Bc he’s likely not 100%

While this weekend is a must win, we will really need him in November

November wont matter if we lose this weekend.

Having him on a snap count and playing him in the red zone only would be great… probably help some of those TD woes down there

Great news on 4. That was a major concern that I had watching him come off the field. Really need him on this offense.

It’s the process of getting him back to game speed over time for a couple of reasons. It gets him back into game shape and helps to avoid further injury.

Also, with being out for multiple weeks, it just depends on what his load is as well. Once he starts practicing again, he will start to feel sore pretty quickly. Recovery and acclimation are huge when coming back from injury.

Hope to get him back soon though! We need him!

He was participating on the field catching passes from Leavitt and staying engaged with the playcalling. jogged off the field at half and did not seem to be hindered at all.

Any specific reason you doubt he plays if he practices every day? If LSU loses to Auburn, and its a big IF (0-2 on the road this season and 0-8 in last 8 road conference games), there is no reason to hold him until Bama because the season is completely over by then.

If hes not a full go I would hope hes at least used moderately (3rd down and redzone) so we can get out with a win. Again, him being fully healthy for Bama means nothing if we lose this game.

Because progression is a thing. You don’t just go from Injury to practice to a few days later playing in a game.

100 agreed. Also, great news on 1 - we need him to contain Aub Qb.

In what capacity did he practice? Was he full go? Walk through? Just in indy drills? Just stretching and running on the sideline???

Practice can mean alot of things.

Not sure why 9 people gave you a thumbs down. If we lose this weekend literally nothing matters in November anymore.
