Per Travin Dural's twitter:

@Dukeyblue02 they wasn't but I hurt my knee yesterday and now I gotta have surgery. So idk what's gonna happen now.

ETA: "they wasnt" referring to whether not LSU was going to redshirt him

Hopefully not serious. He was probably going to redshirt anyway so doesn't really affect his playing time. Just hope nothing is torn or dislocated.

ETA: Didn't see edit. shite if torn ACL.

He says he will only be out 3-4 weeks? Not sure what the injury is though. I also dont think we were going to RS Dural, but that was before the injury. He was the only WR to get called up to practice with the upper class at the beginning of camp. Who knows. If its even a relatively serious injury, RS him.

Might just be an mcl, or pcl tear. Could get it scoped and be back for the 3rd or 4th game

Surgery does not = 3-4 weeks.

Sounds like he kind of knows that its serious but is hoping otherwise.

That's no good. Let's hope Paul Turner's injury isn't anything long term so that we don't lose any more depth at WR.

Magee's switch will probably become a little more permanent now.

That would put us with:
Landry
Beckham
Wright
Shepard
Boone
Magee
Turner
Williams
Fobbs

Yes to WR. Big newspaper article today about him switching to the slot

Has Magee slimmed down? Last I saw dude was pretty big for a WR

Yeah, in the coaches effort to get more RBs on the field, and in Magee's effort to get on the field quicker, he's been working in the slot. Obviously he can always go back to RB, but he's been catching the ball well and is a pretty good blocker out there.

Hes 5'9 around 205. Not all WRs are lanky. I actually like a stockier slot. Better for screens and going across the middle. I think that Magee has been impressing the coaches with his work ethic and he has the mentality that he will do whatever he can to help the team. I can see Magee lining up in the backfield when we go shotgun and motion him all over the place.
