-Get to campus early. You are going to want to tailgate for as long as possible. By 9:30am you should already be on your third Guinness.

-Introduce yourself and make friends. LSU fans love to host guests and will go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. Telling them it's your first LSU game will get you fed and boozed all day. Tell them you came all the way from Europe for it and you'll be treated like a golden god.

-Stay the whole game even if it's a rout. Too many people break this rule nowadays.

-Plan to get wild after the game. Not sure how old you are, but Baton Rouge has a number of places that cater to partygoers of all ages. Be mindful of parking. Only park somewhere if you know your car won't be towed if you leave it overnight

-See and do everything. You won't remember any of it anyway.

Welcome to the fam.

Be ready to be told by every single American you meet that they have Irish blood.
Americans are proud of their Irish ancestry

An Irishman is never drunk as long as he can hold on to one blade of grass and not fall off the face of the earth.

Wow! That's really awesome! I'm so happy you will get to experience Tiger Stadium for yourself. You will have more food and drink than you know what to do with.

If you've spent much time on this board, you may have noticed we are a bit crazy. But, we always know how to have a good time and we do love our tigers!

Looking forward to hearing more about your trip, and your experience.

Musician stuff. Found Cajun country and me and my girl couldn't resist. Had a lot to do with Smoked sausage, Boiled Crawfish and The Blue Moon Saloon. I'll tell ya the whole story if we meet up. DM me before next week and we'll hook up. Geaux Tigers and have fun you are gonna love it. Like All Ireland final times ten. Make sure you witness the band and players run down the hill approx 2 hrs before kick off, tell everyone where your from and you'll be treated like Tiger Royalty. Wear a #18 Jersey and learn its significance and scream loud when the Tigers are on Defense and you can't go wrong. I love my Tigers so don't make us look bad or I'll come and find ya!
