I think LSU still owns the circular tiger logo... I think they made that sh*t-hole "The Tiger Den" restaurant on N. Highland take the paint job they did on the side of their wall. The place might be a sh*t-hole, but the tiger was pretty well-painted.
I've always said I wanted to have some sort of recognizable hand gesture. Hell, even U of Houston has one, as does USC. But ASU's Trident (Really, the shocker!) is probably the best.
I wish we had a phrase we yelled at kickoffs, too. Like, "gooooo..... TIGERS! G-E-A-U-X!"

SG Pres got Oh-Wee-Oh back. I'm sure the new one could start more cheers, or make up a new signal, or at least put pressure for Death Valley signage.

If you notice after games, the players hold up their hands and make an L. I'm not sure if it is because of the tape jobs or if they are using it as the hand gesture. I remember my freshman year in 05-06 we saw track guys holding up their thumb, index, and middle finger to make an L. Me and my roomates jokingly tried to get the hand gesture popular in the student section. It didn't really work.

It was suggested to do an "L" with your right hand. I kind of like it. There's the "L' for LSU, and you are also saying "We're number one!" Someone even made a song about it.

Cheesy "Loser" jokes and TTech comparisons might be a problem.

Here's the song:

I would like to see the fans stop booing when the opposing team comes out before the game. The tradition used to be for everybody to yell "Tigerbait" in unison. Tigerbaiting was unique to LSU and the bad guys always knew where they were when they heard it. Not sure when that started to change, but it was after I left in the 80's.
i'm all for these too!!!11

I'd like to see the shoulder stripes go all the way under the arm like they used to.

Sleeves aren't that long anymore for that. I like our uni's and like white shoes better.

I thought we were talking old school. White shoes don't qualify as old school.

I'm saying I like them better the way they are now.

I don't think the sleeve length matters. I think it's because the fabric changes to an elastic fabric under the arm.

The sleeve is exactly why it changed. Basically they don't even ha ve sleeves any more, it's like a little cap and the stripes need to go inside of that.
That's why it started with linemen and then migrated.
They could take a lesson from UCLA though - they have the same issue but they work the stripe so that it gives the illusion of greater length.
BTW, that darker gold in your pic looks better than the current gold IMO too.

If everybody wants the old Welcome to Death Valley sign and there's room for it, why hasn't the administration brought it back yet?
Haven't yall realized what we're dealing with here? We have a very ego centered bunch of individuals in the LSUAD. They're not very fan friendly to say the least. Not only the WTDV sign, but all the other things we talk about on here daily. They apparently think that the only opinions that matter are the few over inflated egos of a few AD employees whose word is holy gosphel.
The only thing you can do is bombard them with e-mails and letters expressing your opinions. If they don't respond or take no action on your complaint, then send more until you get positive action.
That's why I call them the "Delicate Genius's." They know everything, are always right and will do what they want, despite the opinons/wishes/requests of LSU fans/alumni.....

This! I think it's a travesty that most of fan base doesn't even know the words to the Fight Song, or that it's not "Hey Fighting Tigers
Plus they don't know the words to Touchdown for LSU! Darling of LSU should be familiar with all fans as well. It's sad that tune and its words are not known by many.

The Tiger Eye with LSU in the Geaux Font underneath should be the official logo. That's the best looking logo that I've currently seen........
