I'm sure he just got ran down by a WM linebacker He's flat out fast. There really isn't much of a difference than game speed and 40 times either. Elite speed is elite speed

There isn't a chance in hell a WM linebacker ran him straight down without an angle. I'm glad your son made a big tackle though
There is absolutely nothing deceptive about his speed. He runs a 4.4 and is quick. Deceptive speed applies to Lance Moore and Wes Welker, who don't have top end speed but have incredible explosiveness.
Players who ran fast 40 times run fast on the football field too. His highlights show the top end speed.

Doubtful on the 4.6. Handtime is usually beneficial to the player, but I doubt its over .2 off
4.5 is still elite speed

He'll probably measure 5'11 205 lbs when he goes to the NFL combine.. 4.49 in the 40. If his wing span is good and he jumps well.. that would have him as a 1st rounder.
