Agree. He was very diplomatic. Basically didn’t acknowledge the question because the job isn’t open. Talked about his vision for NC St for next year. An easy pivot will be the LSU job opened up (hopefully after NC St season is over) and he can say he is leaving for better opportunities, chance to return, reunite with Rousse, unfinished business, blah blah. Thank NC St for the opportunity and Bobs your uncle.

If they're going to keep McMahon they might as well.

How was Wade so confident at 2 PM this afternoon that the LSU job wasn’t open. He had just played a game, it’s certainly possible that LSU could have fired MM this morning during the NCST game (the day after our season ended), yet Wade seemed pretty confident in that answer that the job wasn’t open. Almost like it was a script and maybe MM is being kept long enough to let NC State finish its season.
Maybe.
Maybe.

What does this mean? I see this stupid phrase repeated on here but it never has an explanation. Do we shutter the MBB program?
It means your budget can’t be 13th out if 14 if you want to compete.
I’m not defending McMahon. He needs to go. But I’m saying that if you aren’t going to be able to invest properly, then there’s no point.
