Both are Contenders for the National Championship in 2011 but Oregon has been given the greatest nod from the media thus far

Ain't is sooooooooooo phukking kewl that we get a chance to kick BOTH of their sorry azzes in the same month ... I love the schedule ...

--> One azzwhipping for the Ducks

--> One azzwhipping for WV

LSU will be ranked # 1 after WV game

LSU 35, Oregon 17

LSU 38, WV 21

Who's the toughest ... Doesn't matter ... They both have a back-bayou style azzbeatin' coming to 'em for standing in our way.

ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF LOVES THE LSU TIGERS AND HE HAS DECREED THAT 2011 WILL BE A YEAR OF THE TIGER

I think if LSU beats Oregon, then they will be ranked #1

oregon. they are a better team than wvu, it's the first game of the season, we have question marks at qb, lb, dt, corner ect. by the time we play wvu we'll know a lot more about the team. i would much rather play wvu first than oregon.

didn't look like it last year

LSU played a very poor game and it was still never in doubt. We'll see but when the road team is a 4-5 point favorite it doesn't spell optimism for the home team. But hey, if I were you, I'd try to hold on to my delusions too...

Oregon by far. Their scheme and tempo cause problems. The venue is easier for LSU but the team isn't. Both will be really tough to win.

WVU game reminds me alot of the Washington game a few years ago for some reason and we handled that pretty well...

Not sure I understand this comment. True both Washington and WV were introducing a new coach to the program at game time. But Washington wasn't much of a team that year. I think they went 5-7. I think WV has been typically a 9-4 or better type team in recent years. Plus, you guys managed a one TD win against them at home last year. I don't think I'd make much of a comparison other than both are road games against teams with new coaches.

outside of PP7 amazing punt return the game was even. WVU will actually have some what of an offense this year with a legit play caller

Oh, Oregon by far.

WVU has no chance against LSU.

They'll fold like a cheap suit.

I wouldn't worry about about the Mountaineers.

LSU in a cakewalk, easily.

Put it in the books as a W.

oregon could turn into a nightmare if we are not careful. Of course the same could be said for them.

if our offense was worth half a shite, the game would not have even been close. we owned the trenches from start to finish by a mile.

alot of why this game reminds me so much of Washington 2 yrs ago..

Comparing Washington with WV? I live next to the stadium and don't consider it anything out of the ordinary. WV will claw and scratch for a result.

Oregon is a better team, but the WVU game scares me more. They almost waltzed into Tiger Stadium and whippd our asswith a non-factor Devine. They will be better coached with a much bigger crowd advantage.

I think we have bigger advantages against Oregon, though they'd probably beat WVU on a neutral field
